300 RUM 214gr Hammer Hunters

Did some load development with a Sako 75 300 RUM 22" 1:8 twist Preferred barrel.

Settled on 90g Retumbo at just a tick under 3000 fps. Originally had a 26" barrel, but I prefer shorter barrels. Lost around 100 fps with 2 grains less powder & 4" less barrel, but I'm not complaining. The HH continue to impress me with their speed.

Good to hear. I've got some of these loaded up for mine with N570. What COAL are you at? Initially loaded them at .020" off the lands to single feed, but I decided I want to feed from the mag, so I am at 3.830 ish. Hammers haven't been hard to tune with long jumps.

Shot these yesterday with N570. Need to chrono, but has potential. COAL was actually 3.825" to feed form the box.
