300 PRC suppressor questions

I have 5 suppressors from silencer central. 2 of the banish 46 and 3 banish 30. All of them are so good...even on long barrels.....that i don't even consider chopping barrels. Even the 46 on 30, 28, 6.5 prc do such a job quieting things down and reducing recoil...it's amazing. The banish 46 are mostly used on our 36 whelen for iowa deer hunting. But my boys still want them for all their rifles...308, 6.5 prc, etc. I run the 46 on my 300 wby. Love it. All the benefits of running suppressors out weigh and inconvenience of long barrels. I just carry the rifles differently to go through brush
I run a Banish 338 on my new Weatherby 338-378. Shooting with the factory brake, the recoil is doable. With the Banish, the recoil seems about the same. The difference is there isn't as muzzle rise, but the scope tries to connect with my forehead, indicating more rearward recoil—that I can't feel. I'm glad for the extended eye relief on my scope. The rifle has the factory length barrel plus the suppressor, so I won't bother you with loss of speed or power. I could give up a little of both, but I don't wanna!!!

I hunt with an TBAC ULTRA 7 on my 22' 300PRC. It is truly enjoyable, very light. Keep in mind it does not do much for recoil reduction. If you want that go for a Magnus RR (more weight) or the new Silencer Central Meat Eaters suppressor. Those reduce recoil but sound suppression is not as good.
The Nomad Ti is relatively short and light. And with an E-brake is very comfortable to shoot on my 22" Nexus 300 PRC. Also remarkably quiet. Like my CGS cans as well…

I tried a season of hunting with a .300 RSAUM & 6.5 Norma suppressed with a 'AB Raptor 8'. The Raptor is light with great tone, but ultimately I left it behind for the next season. Too much weight out front and overall length for the one time you gotta take a shot. I never hear the shot on an animal anyway. If I am shooting P dogs, 'yotes, or repetition I'll use a can.

I've noticed animals nearby react differently to the shot signature suppressed vs non-suppressed. Typically don't run or run as far... One advantage in big game hunting. But get what you mean.

Mine has been good
So were all the other ones, until they weren't.
