300 PRC suppressor questions

Current setup is a 300 PRC on a Defiance Anti-X with a 26" Proof barrel. I'm looking at running a suppressor for next year and was looking for some input on some 30 cal suppressors. This would be my first suppressed rifle so I'm all new to it. What suppressor are out there and what is everyone running on similar setups? I would be looking at going to a shorter barrel obviously but my question is how short should I go? I don't want to lose a ton of velocity but I understand I will lose some. Kinda looking for a happy medium. Right now I'm not set up to reload (I would like to at some point). I'm pretty happy with the way it shoots factory Hornady ELD-M 225s as I'm getting .3" groups at 100. Thanks!

I'd say if you're concerned about velocity loss stick with a 22" or 23". I really enjoy a 20" barrel with a suppressor but I'm also burning considerably less powder than you are.

I really enjoy my Dead Air Nomad TI on my bigger rifles. It sounds great and mitigates some recoil. I've also run it side by side with my buddies Silencerco Scythe TI which also performs very well. Overall for a hunting can, I look for lightweight titanium construction that isn't unnecessarily long.

The two 30 cal cans I have are the DD Enticer STi and a Resilient Jolene S. Both have very similar sound suppression (which is great) and are lightweight for hunting. The next one I will buy is an OCL Hydrogen K and is even lighter.

22" is fine for barrel length. I would not go less than 20 but you could depending on the restrictions of the chosen suppressor.

I should've added that this is a hunting rifle so being lightweight and somewhat compact is important to me.

If you want to support small businesses and made-in-Montana products, you have Eliteiron (I have 2) on my .30 Lara and AR-10 in .308 Win) and Rex Silentium (I have 1 on my .338 Thor) to choose from.

I just picked up a 22" 300 PRC barreled action, so looking forward to some shooting with it soon.

A Thunderbeast Magnus is probably the best 30 cal can, but comes with a length penalty. I use a Gunwerks 8ight, but it weighs 18 oz. I've been looking at either a SiCo Scythe-Ti or possibly a Thunderbeast for a lighter can.

I use a Rex silentium custom 13 baffle, it tames the heck out of it. Shot about 10 animals with it. Also shot 300wm and 3006. Factory barrels 24 mostly. Runs perfect if a little long overall. I would never go back to brake only.

I'd probably pass on the scythe ti, lots of reports of them blowing apart at the welds right now. If they can come up with a real fix I'd love to have one.

I have a griffin explorr in 30 that just got approved I should have in a couple weeks. It's not titanium light but it's 10.9oz I think.

I'm leaning towards the Diligent Defense S-Ti or possibly the L-Ti. They had some of the best rating from pewscience. They aren't crazy expensive either. I thought about the Scythe Ti until they started blowing apart!!!
