300 Norma Magnum Improved reamer and die release

Here's where I'm at so far. For reference, this is a 300 NMI 35 with the 245 EOL, N568, Lapua brass, 215m. The barrel is a 26" Benchmark 8 tw Med Palma.

Charge Weights/Velocities:
(2 shot average for a quick ladder)

84 gr - 2807

85 gr - 2845

86 gr - 2867

87 gr - 2890

88 gr - 2912

Target below for reference:

Based on what I'm seeing, I plan to target the 86-87 gr range. That looks like a wide tuning window when considering groupings, low ES, & consistent Point Of Impact. No pressure at the top end though.

Overall, N568 seems to be showing better results for me than N570. However, almost exactly 80 fps less velocity for the same charge weights. N568 has shown lower ES/SD's. More temp stable. Cleaner burning. (In my gun anyways).
So I've been playing in the 85.5 to 87 range as well with berger 245 lrht. My 86 grain load looks like your where there's always moving lowered in group. 87 stacks them. I believe I 89 is about max but going to redo pressure test. I'm getting 2949 in a 32 inch barrel with 87 grains. My sd are 4 to 5 es 14 to 18 usually with 10 to 15 shots. I can't seem to get es down like with n565.

That's pretty dang good!

I've been having best results from .025-.030" off
I've been .030 off mostly has good results at .050 off as well. I'm going to try .020 off to see what it does to my es.

Oh nice so our findings are about the same. My old barrel I did a pressure test that was it and it was 90 with drop tube this barrel 89. I'm hoping n568 helps with barrel life a d cleaner vs n565

How was N565? Have not tried it with 245's yet

Went back shot 89 grains to see pressure 3020 feet and good lift a faint ejector mark. I'm sure 90 is max but I'm going to call 89 max with faint ejector mark so no issues in hot weather. I'm staying with 87 grains and .030 off

Thats exactly where I landed on my last barrel.

I've been 2949 avg today it jumped up to 2980 but brass is on second firing and I worked out some neck tension issues I was fighting so I'll take it. 2 grains under max.
The target on right is 10 shots with 87 grains 30 off

I'm working off of 8x fired brass with the numbers I posted previously. No clickers or pressure signs fyi. So it's pretty safe
