Does not seem like much given the case capacity.
Most of the AI cartridges gain their capacity from removing or reducing their taper. The Norma cases aren't far off of minimum taper in their unmodified form.Does not seem like much given the case capacity.
Does the 338 norma improved out perform the 300 norma improved or how would you rank it?
In what regard? I shoot 230 grain bullets in the 300 NMI and 275-300 grain bullets in the 338 NMI.Does the 338 norma improved out perform the 300 norma improved or how would you rank it?
I guess performance wise at distance? Wind? What is the recoil like between the two? I've debated on a 338 improvedIn what regard? I shoot 230 grain bullets in the 300 NMI and 275-300 grain bullets in the 338 NMI.
I've not taken the 338 to distance yet unfortunately. The recoil difference is noticeable with the 300 grain bullets but not uncomfortably so.I guess performance wise at distance? Wind? What is the recoil like between the two? I've debated on a 338 improved
I'm running them in the Normal Norma, non AI version and like them. Easy to tune bullet. I prefer the Bergers but found the SMK when I need some lead to throw down range.Any one run 230 smk in the 300 norma improved?
Why do you prefer berger over them? Ant specific reason?I'm running them in the Normal Norma, non AI version and like them. Easy to tune bullet. I prefer the Bergers but found the SMK when I need some lead to throw down range.
Better consistency overall and BCWhy do you prefer berger over them? Ant specific reason?
