300 gr 338 cal Accubond---It is coming!

I havent been on here lately, just recently learned about the 300gr AB. This thread seems to have the most info on it. Anybody else had any time with these bullets and maybe some more info, as far as BC goes (G7 value would be nice), terminal performance, or any info with a 338LM?

One a side note, getting okish results with berger 300OTM. Mostly just over 1MOA

Thanks JD, is the .720 BC still working for you? Anybody know if Bryan Litz has tested the G7? I looked throught the Shooter app, and it is not listed.

I am using G7 drag with a .375 BC. Its working well for me out to 800 yds.

From Nosler, the BC will be .720.

Yeah, and Nosler has never been known to exaggerate a BC. Actually we've measured lots of BCs and Nosler's numbers are often exaggerated compared with our measurements.

See:

and

I also seem to recall that most of Nosler's BCs are more optimistic than the measurements reported in the Litz book. I would not believe a Nosler BC until confirmed by an independent measurement using either a velocity loss or time of flight measurement.
