I haven't personally but have no doubt it would be a pretty good choice.I'm going to ask what seems to be a silly question-
Has anyone loaded heavies in a .30 Sherman, PRC, Nosler using AA 8700?

I dropped down to 83.4gr of N570 and shot 2 3 shot groups at 755. It shot well and velocity is probably 2880 ish.
First group was 1.2" vertical and the second was just over 3"
I have 6 rounds loaded up at 83.1 to try but may just go ahead load several of the 83.4 and verify drops to hunt with. Deer season started yesterday so I'm a little behind but I'm on call this weekend anyway.

I was wondering the exact same thing 250 grain Hornady A-Tips.. I read somewhere the 230 grainers were the cat's meow till working up loads for the heavier 250 grainers was put on the back burner..I'm going to ask what seems to be a silly question-
