Okay I have 3 lbs. I'm not sure where a good starting point would be ori can't find it?

Start at 92g and work up in 1g increments until you see pressure and back off 1g

I have no idea with the 138 but I'd say 100g

I have a 30-378 but it's not Weatherby. That one is a Hall Manufacturing and I've never shot it and truthfully, not really interested in shooting it.
That said.
The provided Hammer data should put you in the correct direction.
To try to help you out, I did plug it into QuickLOAD. Had to enter the HHT data.
QL thinks IMR 7828 (not SSC) will give you faster speeds than H1000 or Retumbo.

You asked for information on using a bullet size that was Never meant to be shot out of a 30-378. And a Very Well Known Wildcatter give you information, and you are looking in books to Verify that information.
Start where he told you and work up.
I used Beans recipe in a 300RUM using H4350 to get 124HH to over 4000fps.
Start where he suggested and work up.
BE CAREFUL.
QL is useless with Hammers
