30-338 Lapua Improved VS. 300LRH vs. 300 RUM

I've got a serious problem on my hands; I've been bitten by the speed bug!
I'm curious how these 3 rounds stack up against each other. I'm leaning towards the larger diameter cases because of availability and quality, but am not completely against the RUM case... yet.
What is everyone's experience with these rounds and which would you pick as your hunting/target round of choice to satisfy the craving to push lead far and fast?
Looking forward to everyone's opinion on this =)
Forgive my ignorance, what is a .300 LRH?

What about a 30-378 weatherby? I believe it's the fastest factory 30 cal. And weatherby makes some mighty fine brass.

That said, I'd take the rum and add a wyatt's box so you can load over 3.9".
The flip side is how much speed can the bullets handle? Seems like most bullets get strange after 3K.

Actually Weatherby brass is too soft. I had a .30-378 and rechambered it. If Wby would make brass as tough as Lapua they would sell it by the truck load. I would avoid the .30-378 and use something based on Lapua or Norma brass.

You can buy Norma headstamp 30-378 Wby. brass
Norma makes Weatherby brass and says its the same:

Hi, I have a question regarding the brass produced by Norma.
As I understand, Norma is producing both Norma and Weatherby brass in all the Weatherby calibers.
Ranging from 224 to 460 Weatherby Magnum.
Some claim that the Weatherby brass is not as soft as Norma, and the annealing is better.
Is there any quality difference in the brass stamped Norma vs. Weatherby?
Or is the only difference the head stamping?
Best regards

Hi Lars-Kåre, this will be an easy answer

The cases are produced in same line same material and
Have the same treatment all the line down.

I'm thinking of a build based off the lapua improved I have now. Because I have a rig setup just for forming brass.
I like where this thread is heading fast .30 cal
