from experience it will be hard to beat the 5 groove..
but I have to ask, are you going to fire lead out of it? if so, is this going to be the primary slug, lead w/or W/O gas check.. if so, the 3 will be good, and the 5 groove will be good. if you are going to shoot just copper jackets out of it, then the 5 groove is the only way to go. when working with odd versus even grooves, odd grooves are much more accurate and easier on the gun.
