Accuracy with the XLC won't win my any BR matches but roughly 1/2 MOA or thereabouts. This is used as my deer load and not paper punching. With the XLC there is a barrel prepping procedure that I followed on the barnesbullets.com webpage and safariammo.com sites. I haven't used the 338 XLC before so I don't have any experience with them.
With XLC vs standard X-Bullets the TFC on the XLC does increase muzzle velocity about 175fps or so in my rifle. Bullet performance is predictable and there does not seem to be any obvious difference between the two.
