You will not be disappointed. The 300gr would jive really well with a Lap improved. They might be a bit heavy for the std case

What kind of velocities did you see with the 250 ATips in your 30SM ?
32" tube running them at 3k, I had room to stand on it harder if I wanted but it was shooting good there and that was all the velocity I was hoping for out of it.

I'm not planning on running 250s. I just don't think that case capacity is the best for a 250 grain bullets. 230 maybe and like you said, they are very close considering velocities and BCs what they are. I can get 3050-3075 with a 225 down my 26" barrel. I'm pretty content there.

In both of 375's CT with the 390gr A-Tip I'm seeing a little over 3100fps validated .483G7 to well beyond 2k

They hit hard
The 300 gr Atips are terrific in my my 338 lm....for me they shoot far more accurately than the 285's. Shot a bear this past fall at 289 yards...exit wound was the size of a softball with half the lungs protruding! Shooting less than 1/2 MOA at 750 yards....farthest I've been able to shoot them yet
