IMR 7828 works well for me also with 160 AB. 2955 fps from a 26" barrel. It's what was available at work up time and saw no reason to change.

Yes, IMR 7828 and ssc works very well in my 280AI. It's great to have a cartridge that your able to develop an acceptable load with quite a few different powders. IMR4831, H4831sc, IMR4350, IMR7828ssc, RL22, 23, 26, have all produced very good loads in both my 280AI's in the 140-168gr bullet weights.

Yeah the only reason I went away from 7828 is due to it's temp instability... and I hunt pretty drastic temp swings.
For accuracy, it is the cat's meow.
