I want too , I've never reloaded anything but shotgun shells , so down another rabbit hole I go! But the federal Berger 168 day us running less than .5 MOA and I have couple boxes of federal TLR ASCEND 155 to try.

LOL! Dive in head first!! The Berger 168 vld's shot fantastic in mine with H4831. If that Federal ammo keeps shooting like that then you may not even need to worry about loading for it. That's pretty good!

Ive been putting a list together recently for my first custom. Much like this one. It looks great by the way! Any regrets with it so far? Or anything you would do different?

I wish I would have went a different route on the bottom metal , I prefer a polymer mag than steel for hunting and wish I could find a 2 or 3 round mag for it. Perhaps they are available and honestly I haven't looked that hard yet.

Look at the 30-06 3 around mag. You'll have to choose the length you want.

I thought that too. I have a 260 with ai mags and I don't like the protrusion. I have made ruger ai 3rd mags work in it for hunting and also a curtis custom 3rd mag. Not having that option for a long action I was considering hs precision bm. Does anyone have good experience with the hs bm?
