That is a great group. What was the weight of the your build on that one?I got a guy that can build you a fully custom for 3100 hundred bucks. Here's a group from the load development that I shot with the 28 Nosler I had him build meat, I'm actually in the process of having him build me another one
No I have not but for a factory rifle I would git that or the baergara preimer rifles, if I had $3000. the bergara preimer rifles they are in the $2,000 rangeI was just looking at them. Have you shot any of the Nosler rifles?
3.650 is either for the 180 hybrids or the 180 hornady eldx's but I can't remember which. 3.600 is for the other of the two, but the 195 is 3.740. I quoted the post where Ryan said his coalYa I saw that and worked up carefully. In this throat configuration in this particular rifle the case didn't expand anymore at 89 gr than 85.5 gr. My c.o.a.l in this rifle is 3.740". Thats a huge difference which reduces pressure dramatically.
What's the issue with the Nosler? I've had one that shot the 180's at 3260 1/2 MOA to 965 yards. Sold it because of the 1-9" twist but that gun is a great shooter. One of my best friends bought it because he had shot it with me.Whatever you do...do not buy a Nosler Rifle! I bought one and it is absolute junk! For the money you can build one and have a nice rifle. If considering a Nosler Rifle, just buy a How's. It' the same gun. I only say this to save you the pains I went through for way too much money

Prior to shooting it when it was new I took it to Elite Rifle Works to add a brake , re crown the muzzle and bed the action. He called and said the bedding was perfect don't touch it and the barrel was already lapped.
Only thing I didn't like was the Rifle Basix trigger - it had a notchy feeling.
Nosler sent me a call tag, replaced it with the Timney at no charge and cerakoted by brake for free - that Elite Rifle Works had made / installed.
The Nosler is a great gun backed by excellent customer service stock
