28 Nosler 195 Berger vs. New 180 ELDM

In my 9" twist 28 at 6500' elevation I was using .366 g7 at 1120 yards, the higher bc Hornady advertises is only good to 600 according to them.

I would guess that most who shoot long range would use all 3 of the BCs in their app. I do it for both the 195s and the 180s. BCs change at speeds for all bullets.

Below are speeds point that I use for the the 180. Over 2513 the bc is higher than the average.

2512 FPS
2232 FPS
1953 FPS

I think if you search on here, you will find many have shot these long range. What i gather is that most feel the BC is correct. I may have misinterpreted their post, so read them yourself. I've shot over 200 of them out to 1100 yards. The 180s and 195 are the only bullets that my 28 has fired. To me they are as advertised.

I used .750 in a 9.5 twist 7mm rem mag on Thursday and I was good to 1000 yards. Im at 575 ft.

Can you post the same numbers for the 195?

That's impressive it is stable with 9.5 twist and low altitude. I only tried stuff that works for others, this is useful.

No, I don't know.

The bc is degraded to around .750. When I ran the stability calculations the 162 eldx and the 180 eldm are close. At 7500 ft, the bc should be normal.
