I recently bought a Browning X-Bolt 270 WIN. I am trying to find the fastest hardest hitting bullet for long range deer hunting . I usually shoot anywhere from 100yrds to 500yrds with a 150gr bullet. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Mine really liked the HSM with the 150 Berger. Shot about .5 moa. I thought this was great so I never started reloading for it. Later I felt the consistency of the ammo was not the same. I had some H1000, CCI primers. I put those with some 150 Berger's I bought. It now shoots bug holes.
Another vote for the 150 HSM Berger VLD (direct from HSM or Trophy Gold).

If reloading, the bonded Matrix 150gr RBT was more accurate for me than the 150 Berger .277 Caliber Rifle Bullets Built for Accuracy | Matrix Ballistics
