27" or 28" barrel on 300 Win Mag?

What should I get for a case to carry this gun around in that will fit the longer barrel?

I am hoping a magnum gun sock from cabelas will work for the gun at least...the scope wont fit. (ATACR)

I have Pelican 1720. They are heavy plastic, but big enough. And they are very heavy without a rifle in them.
