264 win mag velocities?

Saami chanmer, RL 22 and 140 accubond was 3180. Currently shooting 140 Berger HVLD at 3100 with RL26, had better downrange consistency with this load.

1-9 I assume
Which powder?

My rifle likes IMR7828, I also have used H1000 with about 80fps less average speed but with equal accuracy.
Killed a large moose with this Sierra load, still a fragile bullet like the Berger and should be placed precisely.
I assume 1:9 twist, it is factory.

I did a .264 with .199 freebore last year. Copied a creedmoor throat just for ease of reamer specs. 7.5 twist, 26". The happy place with the berger 156 was only 3100 (it could go a little faster but not much) although it would put the 147 eldm out at 3240 (that was max). Retumbo was the best powder I tried out of h-1000, rl33, rl23, and 8133.

If anybody is looking for .264 dies I have a Redding set I'll be listing in the next few weeks.

That's impressive Cody! What is your C.O.L? And what would it be if it was throated how youd like it?

Lots of good info here. Cant wait to burn the barrel out of this wby Vgd so I can start fresh.
OAL is 3.400" varying by bullet tip, that is .020" off lands. Properly throated, it would be around 3.600" roughly, I made up a dummy round at one time but don't remember what it measured, but it would be a lot longer. You can see, the bullet is way in there.

A question for you 264 win mag shooters, what velocities are you getting with 26" barrels and with what 120-156 bullets?
I'm considering rebarreling to that cartridge after this one is done.
I am getting just over 3200 fps with 140 Speer gold dot in a wilson 8 twist from Ragged Hole. 76.5 Gr H 50BMG and throated long. COAL is 3.460"
