257 BLACKBIRD (250-7 Blaser) for 131 ACE (0.340 G7 @ 3400-3500+ fps)

I have not measured my fired cases, but I believe it is 3-4grains more than unfired. 500 pieces will last me a long time for what I do. Will be talking with T/S after Christmas about a 6.5 version. Extremely happy with my 7mm.
Your 7 blaser Rogue is pretty much a 7lrm(86-87gr capacity) a great place to be for a 7mm, right about 7wby area as well. Now that 7lrm brass made by adg for gunwerks is available, I'll likely build another.

Any updates from anyone? Anyone else running one? What velocities are you getting?
Yes, I am. Right now I'm running the 121 hh at 3440 with imr 7828. We took three deer this year with it from 116 to 230 yards. I have a load for the 135 burgers as well with retumbo at 3200 or 3300 I can't remember I will have to look. Love this round.

I've had time to play with this round for a little while. I've been shooting the 145gr blackholes at 3163 with retumbo very accurately. Now that I've found these 163gr chinchaga bullets I've been testing are looking very promising. H1000 gave me 3036 today.

Brother, please start a new/separate thread for the 163 CCs like you did with the 145 BHs so it does not get buried here and associated with a non-existent bullet.

I know I'm late to this game, but Lazzeroni released the 6.71 Lazzeroni Blackbird back in the 2000s. I would have chosen another name, just so people don't think this is a necked-down version of that cartridge. BTW I had a Win M70 Laredo accurised and had a 26" Lilja barrel installed... it shoots 100 gr Nosler BTs at a chrono'd 3,950 ft/sec and is sub-MOA. It's quick, destructive death on coyotes.
