Not a problem! And AWESOME!Thank you! I appreciate it. I'm building one now along with a 6.5.
Yes, please! (Looks like Rich approves!)I am on it but haven't seen much about the 25sherman. Guess I might have to build one and post the results.
Any chance you have the formed cartridge to post a picture of.Just need someone to build one
Pretty sure the 25 Creedmoor does too. If not, I know the 25-284 does.Lol I just ran the numbers myself ha ha. Pretty impressive, outruns my .260 AI with the 156's @2940 in both drift and energy, and it's even flatter for me, my house sits at 6,850 ft elevation....
Maybe I'll eventually build this in a light rig for my back country mule deer hunts.....plenty of thump out to 1200ish, especially in the thin 9,000+ air I hunt them in....
Proof Sendero light 24", eh-1 with 1/2" recoil pad, MBM TI lil beast 3 port, BDL, 700 LA or maybe splurge on a russo TI light action, and maybe the new vortex razor HD LHT @19 oz would get me to 8.5 lbs or less.....
Well, there is my build sheet. Guess I just need money now ha ha
Doubtful you'd see 3400 with 131s from a 30-06 case necked down to the .257. Maybe 3200. The Sherman cartridge would have more case capacity if it's getting 3400. I'd say the .257 Wby Mag will get to 3400.Is the 06 case version we are speaking of? I am
Interested in these Sherman's and I am just learning which is which? 131 gr 25 cal bullet at 3400fps from a 24in barrel? Am I reading that correctly?
Guys are reporting 3350+ with Light Eject Marks from 26" Barrels, but not a 24" BarrelDoubtful you'd see 3400 with 131s from a 30-06 case necked down to the .257. Maybe 3200. The Sherman cartridge would have more case capacity if it's getting 3400. I'd say the .257 Wby Mag will get to 3400.
