I'm just starting the process of rebarreling a r700 260 that shoots like a shotgun. Haven't decided on the chambering yet, but I'm fond of the 135 Berger 25cal. I'll keep this in mind

So none of the fire formed brass is included? Does one shot get the brass fully formed? Were you using h4350 to form? Very impressive velocity with the 22" barrel and that bullet!

I'll throw in the formed brass that I have. I seemed to lost most of it. I just got back from a 2 week hunt and I can't find the ammo/brass for it anywhere except for what was in the shell holder on the stock.
Yes I formed with h4350 as well. 42gr I believe, speeds around 2800. Yes it's fully formed after 1 shot

I am running a similar round. 25MBK (25-260AI).
22" 1:7.5" Benchmark Sendero CF.
131 SMK @ 2988fps with a very moderate charge of H4350 now that it is broken in. 46.8gr H4350 hit 3044fps max with only 65 rounds down the barrel.
Someone buy this barrel and enjoy a short, fast deer/pronghorn slayer.
I use Alpha 260Rem SRP brass too.
