I used RL-17 and achieved 3800 fps out of a 26 inch tube…. Haven't killed anything with them. Have killed a few animals with the 121's.

I've settled on 57.7gr of imr4350. 58gr gets me just a touch of ejector swipe and the same speeds as 57.7gr. I'm going to do a little seating depth testing and might run a crimp. But as of right now my 3 shot groups are touching horizontally and 5 shot groups are sub 3/4moa.

This #2 sporter barrel shows heat dispersion after 3 shots anyway.

You're not kidding. I use RL-16 with good results in my 30-06 and 6.5 creedmoor. But holy **** does it burn hot.

Stocky's does have their CFW proof barrels marked down $300. The next one will be a 26" ackley.

R23 sure gets the speed, to be cooler burning than H4831 that is amazing to me.
