25/06 loads w 110 ELD-X

The 115vld's are going to be a much better choice than the 110eldx. My max is 59.4gr of retumbo out of a 26" 10tw. Was hitting 3400fps with flat primers and 2" groups. Backed it down to 58.8 and 5 shots can be covered with a nickel.

Start somewhere between 54-55gr and watch your brass.

When this barrel goes I will go AI.

If your really want to get wild put an 75gr vmax in there an cut coyotes nearly in half.

Might I suggest Berger 115 grain VLD projectiles, uniform explosive performance at 50 or 500 yards.
I have a 30" Lilja Barrell and I'm getting 3248 FPS with 57 grains of Retumbo with a CCI benchrest primer, cases trimmed to .002 over minimum length, seated up against lanes and grooves but not touching.
My COL is 3.704 including Sinclair comparator.
7 at 100 yards
I would tend to say that you don't have a common sporter rifle! :) I got away from retumbo many years ago when newer powders came out. My custom ER Shaw 257 rob ai is one of my most accurate rifles and a pleasure to shoot with a fluted barrel.

As to varminting the 87 V-max is great for coyote callers

I recently rebarreled a Rem 700 custom shop rifle w/ a Brux 9.5twist factory contour at 24" with a muzzle break. Does anyone have any good loads. Typically hunt at less than 600 yds in SE Montana for mulies and antelope.
Found this doing a search as I just got a few boxes to try, since the combined technology bullets are no longer available I thought I would try these for the old 25.06 (Rem 700) It been a few months have you had any luck?
