I've owned a long range 22 Creedmoor for a few years but when the opportunity came along to put together a lighter weight, short barrel, suppressed coyote killing machine, I just had to do it. My old 22 Creed loads were too hot for this barrel but dropping down a grain of powder found the sweet spot immediately. Below are the build specs and pictures. It should be a KILLER predator rifle.

Action: Impact Precision NBK
Barrel: Benchmark 1:7.5 twist cut to 16.5"
Suppressor: KGM R30
Stock: Manners PH
Bottom Metal: Boring Rifles
Trigger: TT Diamond
Scope: Burris XTR3 3.3-18x in ARC M10 rings
Ammo: 80 grain Berger VLD at 3050 with 39.2 grains of H4350 in some necked down 6.5 Creedmoor brass.

Another day at the range and a final zero confirmation (gave it 1/4 right after this group). The first shot out of the cold suppressor always seems to fall just out of the rest of the group, but man this rifle shoots well!

Looks like a pretty sweet setup. I've been thinking of something like that for my thermal. Not sure on if I want to go with the 22 or the 6, but I'd probably do an 18 inch barrel. My 22-250 has been pretty good though.

The 6cm will be faster than the 22cm if you are comparing same bullet weights and power charges. Nothing 6mm is going to be as fur friendly as something 22cal but if you are just doing population control I'd go 6cm all day.

I ran a 16" 22 creed at a shooting school I was at for a day that I had built and I wanted a 20" barrel but it didn't come in on time so he put the 16" on it and it shot awesome but I was only getting 2810 fps out of it. 1/7 twist 38.4 grn. of H4831 shooting Hornady 88 grn ELDM. I wanted to get the speed up around 3000 so I ended up putting a 22" kreger barrel on it.

This should be an awesome light coyote killing machine. Enjoy
