But, i love mine. 2 years hunting with it and 2 nice bucks. One in profile was with a 80.5 gr berger at a mild 3400, didn't go but 10-15 yards before piling up. This year's dropped straight down, 77 tmk at 3550. Both were about 145 yard shots.

Make sure you aren't trying to get those velocities with a 7 twist barrel you will start losing jackets off your bullets. David

If I remember right his is a 7 twist. I've only had that issues when you start to build carbon once you clean it that went a way. I experienced that with 80.5's

Yep....7 twist. 219 bore helps as well

I'm running a 26" 7.5 twist Bartlein. I generally keep the 80gr bullets to around 3,300fps and the 85.5 Bergers to 3,200fps based on precautionary info provided by Peterson brass Co.

However, I've noticed that many 22 Creed shooters are regularly loading to higher velocities without issue.

My 22CM has a 22" 1:8 CF barrel. Probably going to go with Suprformance, have Alpha LRP brass.

Yep....7 twist. 219 bore helps as well

Ours are 218 on the 7 twist my friend has clean or dirty anything over 3300 they come apart. Mine is a 7.5 twist and haven't had an issue but if I do it again I would go 8 twist. David
