But, i love mine. 2 years hunting with it and 2 nice bucks. One in profile was with a 80.5 gr berger at a mild 3400, didn't go but 10-15 yards before piling up. This year's dropped straight down, 77 tmk at 3550. Both were about 145 yard shots.
This was the off side of the 77 tmk

One of these days we may even tech him how to actually take pictures of the terminal performance.3,550fps with the 77TMK is Hauling The Mail. Would you mind sharing your load data? Bbl length?
Make sure you aren't trying to get those velocities with a 7 twist barrel you will start losing jackets off your bullets. David3,550fps with the 77TMK is Hauling The Mail. Would you mind sharing your load data? Bbl length?

Ours are 218 on the 7 twist my friend has clean or dirty anything over 3300 they come apart. Mine is a 7.5 twist and haven't had an issue but if I do it again I would go 8 twist. DavidYep....7 twist. 219 bore helps as well
We also have 26 inch barrels which is another part of the equation. DavidOurs are 218 on the 7 twist my friend has clean or dirty anything over 3300 they come apart. Mine is a 7.5 twist and haven't had an issue but if I do it again I would go 8 twist. David
