22-250

My tikka 22-250 liked Benchmark with the 52 grain Berger better than Varget. Varget is better with 55 grain and up however. I don't have data in front of me.

The 52 grain Bergers have worked well on coyotes for me.

Yea, VarGet is working very well in a couple 22-250s for me. One is with 52 grain Bergers and the other is with 55 Sierra blitz kings.
Great accuracy, speed and the added benefit of being less temperature sensitive than most of those ball powders.

I have started to use 33.5 VN 540 in my 7.7 twist .22-250 with Hornady 62 grain ELDMVT bullets - just under 3,600 fps & 1.5"-2" at 300 . Trying to find exact load manual data would be difficult. I like load manuals & have 1,000's of paper pages to read and then there is the internet.

Some load data on internet:

Probably more than 100 loads for 52 grain bullets - assistance from others would help - ball powders are generally less expensive & more available. VN 140 is available my LGS and sale price about same as H380 & Win Staball Match. The VN manual has .22-.250 VN 540 data.
