22-250 Ammo Recommendation?

If you're a hand loader, you might look hard at Sierra #1395 65gr SPBT Game King I used it for years in my Wby Mk V Varmitmaster .22-250 for both Yotes and Deer they do a great job, and it's a very accurate bullet. Cheers

Actually, I believe it was the same as my Wby VarmitMaster in .224 Wby Mag... 1-14" inch.... but, here's the crazy part, the .224 Wby Mag was also identical to the .22-250 both having 26" inch barrels, the .224 Wby Mag wouldn't shoot anything over 52grs... yet the .22-250 shot 60grs and 65grs just fine, both are very accurate. I've shot the 65gr in .223s with 1-10 and 1-9 twists with fantastic results in both twists if that helps. Cheers.

Just started building a load my 22-250, it has a 24" w/ a 1-12 twist bbl. I'm using Nosler 64 gr bonded and looking at getting 3400~3500 fps. Still lots of testing to do. Having hunted with 220 Swift, 22 Cheetah Mk-II, and 22-250 in the past using 55, 60 and 63 gr bullets, I definitely am curious how strong the bonded bullet will be when it hits.
