212eldx or 215 Berger hybrid 300PRC on elk?

I've witnessed bullet failure with 215 Bergers.

Of course, you did; I do not think anyone claims the 215 is the magic bullet for all situations. Murphy does not discriminate. This is the beauty of having plenty of choices.

Shot a few deer in the mid 600's with the 215 with no issues, and being in S. Texas with no Elk but we have Nilgai and I have 6 of them from 300 to 487 yds one shot out of 300 win mag 2825 fps , one ran about 30 yds ,the rest dropped in there tracks. So the 215's work for me
