Good luck, still have my eyes I open, I'll keep you posted.I'm still leaseless too. I'll get my son down to fill a doe or cull MLD tag on a friend's ranch in Coutula, but that will be it for me.

Awesome bull! congratsSept 11 off alaskan peninsula
This is what it is all about. Congrats to both of you and so glad you are bring on the next generation of hunters. The most important hunt of the year first, my Sons 2nd mulie. He hiked hard, never complained and did a great job on the pack out. 330 yards with his 6.5 CM. We took about 30 minutes to cover 400 yards to get as close as terrain would allow and then another 10 minutes quietly getting him set up with a shooting setup.
Then my MT mulie (disclaimer; my first guided hunt). 500 yds with 7RM and 155 Hammer Hunters, top of heart and went 20 yds.
Struggled for both of my elk hunts; moon, high temps, wolves and too many people. Had two bulls get shot out from under me in rifle season.
That's funny and awesome, congratsFinally done hunting in our house. First turkey with a guillotine blade and my, was it effective. Looked like someone did a hemispherectomy on it.
I shot my whitetail buck out in the woods but all my wife had to do was wait for the rut, take a break from dinner prep and step outside to shoot hers in the yard at 25 yards off the deck.
