Thanks but I need to stick with 7.5 or maybe 7. I do see bullet central has a Krieger in 7 twist and a Bartlein in 7.5 but 1.25 straight and that is probably too heavy.

I may try the Krieger 7 twist in their Bull target. This isn't going to be a lightweight build but even so, I think a straight barrel may be too heavy

I was looking for one myself. All black friday deal were for carbon wrapped. Red hawk, carbonsix.

These are advertised as being for pre-fit's. That may be a +/- for you. Maybe worth a call to see if they'll just sell a blank, if you really just want a blank (vs. prefit). They've built two rifles for me. By far the best experience I've ever had with a gunsmith (both builds).
