Got my first bear today! Pennsylvania game lands. I have friends who bear hunt but today didn't work to hunt with anyone. I know big groups hunt game lands in my area so I hunted near where some of the groups were driving. This one and it's sibling came trotting through to me 45 minutes into my walk! About 80-90 lbs live weight. Had a mile hike back to the truck, but it fit nicely on my pack frame. Very happy!

Those were just a couple of the bears we took this year, I do management work in the local orchards. These were tearing up the peach trees, fences, sprinklers etc. All rifle shot. 300 black out is caliber of choice with a 130 speer hollow point, most shots are under 100 yards. Base of the ear/brain shots as we can't have them leave the property. top bear was 480lbs Bryans was 367. We are allowed unlimited private land bear tags in my unit. This one was 305lbs

Wife got her first big game hunt and we managed to tag her out on the first day!
Arizona 18a late rifle bull.
650 yard shot! REM 700 in 7mm rem mag.
Was a great hunt, and because we got done on day 1, we spent the rest of the week helping other hunters and got to be in on two other exciting and successful bull hunts!
