I am waiting on my 20" 7SS from SCR. Following to see what loads seem to work

58 to 60 grains R23
ADG brass
F215M
Berger 175 elite hunter
58.5 gave me 2,780 fps
59.5 gave me 2,835 fps
60.0 gave me about 2,880 but not as good accuracy as 59.5

Did get your 20 in SAUM....thinking of getting one built....wondering how it turned out

Don't forget about the 280ai. More velocity than the SAUM, less recoil and powder consumption than the PRC.

280AI and 7SAUM are ballistically equal with almost identical case capacity. Would love to hear how it gets more velocity than the SAUM, all other things equal?

Fair enough, I'm running a 22" barrel and getting 2940fps with a 162eldx.

I'm just bitter for not going with a 7SAUM for my build.

I'm getting 2935fps with my 7PRC on a 22" barrel 180gr hybrids. My friend is getting around 2725fps with 195eol on a 20" barrel, 7PRC.

I'm looking at a similar build but plan to shoot 180gr hybrids. What kind of speeds can I expect? I have the same powders and might be able to get N560 or N565.

Those will be my go-to's in 6saum. Maybe grand and hd will be tried?

Thats perfect. Thank you. Is that from quickload? Never used the software before. Guess I need to look into that.

It's not perfect and WILL need to be tweaked for best use.
