.2-.3 100 yard cold bore challenge

Sure sounds like max if it's dropping primers :) good shooting
The same load has been very consistent. I might have made a mistake with the charge or may have had some RL15 in the dispenser tube of the Lock n load . These were the first loaded once I changed the powder over. I tipped it over but I didn't visually check to make sure it was empty. I only had 10 loaded so I have 5 to pull apart. With the 142's still have rounded primers. I keep thinking if it was residue it would have been only 1 not 2 or possibly more.
On a side note, something happened to the parallax control today. I would get focus way off the number which has never been the case with this optic. I also had funny jumps or shifts when changing the power that I've never seen before. Ever seen or heard about that?

Gotcha. Trail boss got me one time. luckily I looked in the powder reservoir thing and it was stuck to the sides. That stuff is like glitter!
No idea on the parallax thing. Let me know when you figure it out

If you are having problems with static making powder stick to the sides of your reservoir, I'm told you can wipe the inside with a dryer kling-free sheet and get rid of static. Mounting a static grounding wire to your powder measure may help?
Its better to just wrap the cylinder with the sheet and ziptie or elastic band it. Then its a constant solution.

Finally. Been trying to chase a flyer. .255" center to center.

6.5 creed, bartlien barrel, Curtis axiom.

Someone very early in this thread said they can't what to see all these factory guns that are 1/2". This morning I took my savage 223 all factory rifle. Cold bore plus 4 At 100 yds then to 500 yds. 10 shot string. I will only remember the one drop though.

Shot number 1 was the bottom other 4 were stacked nicely on top. This is from my 7mm08 tc pro hunter. These are shots 50-55 it seems to like the nosler 125 ballistic tips over a hefty charge of imr4064 the best. Didn't mic this but the squares are 1 inch so it'll definitely put them in there for sure. Maybe not a .3-.2 but very consistent.4 or .5

These are from last summer. Had not shot in ages with my Sako TRG-42 .338 Lapua.
First pic is 3 rounds of factory load PPU 250gr FMJ at 100 meters.
Second pic is 5 rounds of factory load Lapua 250gr Scenar at 100 meters.
Third pic is my old Plain Jane TRG-42 with an old school Zeiss 6-24x56.

5-shot group at 425 yards while sighting in new scope.

26" 6.5 creedmoor shooting factory 140 ELD-M with a breeze from 2:30 (unaccounted for).

Shooting prone off concrete with bipod.

Looks like I should've double checked my 100 yard zero, haha. Just a smidge under 1/2 moa.

This was from a couple of weeks ago. .260AI, 4th barrel - I like it! 143gr ELD-X, RL17, CCI BR primer. It was about 18 degrees with 6-7 mph wind.

Method - sandbags front and rear, took the COLD rifle out of the case, screwed on the suppressor, got situated and fired this 5 shot group. The very first cold bore shot seems to be caused by the very cold suppressor. It doesn't do that so much without the suppressor, still acceptable for me. The target grid is 1/4".
