Side note: Somewhere kicking around I still have my Oregon hunters safety patch from 73'(Great day in my young life). I seem to recall there was a lot of emphasis on not shooting people on that test.

Most of my family was killed in WW2 in Germany. The only ones to survive was my grandparents. They lived out side of Cologne on a small farm. All three of my grandmothers brothers we're killed. 2 of them in defense of Germany from Russia.

Anyway this is a good book about the tank battle in Cologne. As it turned out my father was born right before the battle. Sorry a little off topic but with the last post of Germany and such it's a little close to home for me as I'm the 1st born from German migrants.
