.17 HMR for coyotes?

Here in WhatcomCounty GMUS 407 The Coyotes see to be medium sized.
I have killed more Coyotes with one round over twenty times.
Using CCI 20 grain most within 150 yards head or chest shots.
I have had a few run 30 or so yards then drop.

I know the majority of people will not use a 17 hmr saying it is to small and wimpy
Well I have killed a lot more coyotes in my life with a 22 LR.
Use what you got .

17HMR has put down every coyote I have shot with it.
The dogs around here are of medium size. I have seen just as many run after being
Shot with a .223 Continuing debate over the little 17. Just racism
