143 gr ELD-X bullet performance on my mule deer last week with pics

Congratulations on a very nice deer! Don't try that bullet at close range with a raking shot.....you may be left with memories rather than a trophy! memtb
 
Found another bullet. I posted early a pc of my 143 g ELD-x bullet recovered from a muley I shot. I got my processed meat back the other day, and he handed me the 2nd bullet, #2 in the pic! Here is a pic of both side by side after being shot by my 6.5 PRC CA at 156 yards, both quartering shots. Chrono"d at 3,000 fps with H1000 powder.

I personally witnessed two full grown Oryx, shot at the same time, fall from single shots of factory loaded 143 ELD-X Precision Hunter. Both shots were fired from 6.5 Creedmoors at 585 yards.

I never would have expected they'd be that effective. Especially on Oryx. One was the biggest bull I've seen on the ground.
