$100K 1/2 MOA rifle?

Well, I have had so much morning enjoyment reading this thread-Thanks guys!
I have several specialty pistols that are capable of this for sure, but their operator is not always capable on the trigger.
I doubt I would even take the bet at a $100, but I would be down to try it for fun anyways.
I have times where it is my day to look good, then I have days that are just the opposite.
The last challenge I accepted was last June where a good friend said he would buy my lunch if I could kill a pd over a 1000 yards, in 10 shots or less.
I had three 22 centerfire specialty pistols with me...I grabbed the one I had shot on steel two days previous (22GT). Killed that yearling pd on the cold bore shot!
Killed the second one on the 9th shot at the same distance.
Once in a lifetime cold bore shot for me, and I doubt I will ever repeat it!
Several days later I tried for a over 1K pd with my 15" 223 Remington/77 TMK's, I fired 92 rounds, and hit one at 1058 yards. Another prairie dog ended up dragging him down a hole-Grrr!

Does anyone have a HUNTING rifle that they'd honestly bet $100K that they can lay down, on demand, and shoot a sub 1/2 MOA, 5 shot group with? I was thinking about it, and I really don't think I do. Even with a couple nice rifles that have produced much smaller than 1/2 MOA groups on occasion... I wouldn't bet $100k on the next 5 shotter being under .5".... I'd like a rifle like that at some point though haha.

Let's say:
-12lbs Max weight
-Minimum cartridge of 6.5 PRC
-Think 600 yard+ elk capable rifle.

If you do, I'd love to see it and get the details on the build, load, and some groups that the rifle/rifles puts down!
I have a Model 700LTR in 308 Winny that lays them down like that all the time but the nut behind the trigger would be WAAAAAY too nervous to trust with that much money on the line. LOL

100K might be chump change to some, but the pressure that would produce in me could very well cost me the bet. I've watched pro golfers miss two footers when a few mil was on the line, and 100K is to me what 3 million is to them in my guesstimation. I have a few really good shooting rifles, but sub 1/2" MOA is really tight, not much room for a bad trigger sqeeze, or heartbeat, or . . .

Planning on this being my $100k 1/2 MOA shooter soon haha. 300 NMI hopefully shooting 208 ELDM's when it's painted!

It is!! It's the best design I've used for sure. I had the standard KS1 on my last 6.5 PRC and decided to go with the adjustable KS1 for these next two builds.
Looks like a lot of color/pattern options. 👍

We really should distinguish between varmint rifles and big game rifles. This challenge is certainly doable for the Varmint rifle category. They are usually heavier than big game rifles too.

The challenge becomes more difficult and also less practical in the Elk/Bear/Moose category of rifle. First of all, you have to be able to lug the thing to where you can get a shot, so weight becomes a limiting factor. I don't want any rifle to weigh more than 9.5 lbs if I am going to lug it very far. But some may want heavier rifles and just not care about the weight so much. I am tending more toward lighter rifles these days myself.

Also the 5 shot requirement is less practical, since thinner barrel tapers tend to throw flyers with warm barrel shots. Now if it were a group of all cold barrel shots, that would be exactly the information every hunter needs to know for sure about his rifle. Any rifle that will put cold barrel shots into .5 MOA is what we as hunters are really interested in.
