1/4" clicks or 1/4 moa clicks

I spoke with Outdoorsmans a few months ago about this very topic. They told me the Swaro scopes are quarter inch per click and not moa. I had planned on purchasing a 3-15 but didn't want to complicate things by having to figure the difference. My BR2 rangefinder reads in moa not iphy.

The difference is .47" per MOA @1000 yds. If your dialing .25 MOA per click, that works to .47" per 4 clicks

.47" x 34 "minutes" to get to 1,000 yards = 15.98"

Nope. In fact, it is one of the better reasons to switch to MILS.

Whoever they talked to probably didn't know what they are talking about. Look at the following Swarovski website. They specifically call out 1/4 moa adjustment impacts, and not 1/4 inch. In addition the turret for my Swaro X5 also says 1/4 MOA adjustment.

The z5 indicates 0.25 inches per hundred yards for the adjustment where the x5 indicates 0.26. It appears the x5 is in moa and the z5 in iPhy.
