Great news. AICS mags cannot be used with the improved cartridge without removing the mag grooves on the sides. This will make the system much more functional and maintain the magazine strength.

What's your OAL on your cartridge. Just built a 338AI on 4.0 action and this has me intrigued.
They are running mag max length so just shy of 3.95"

My 338 improved runs them over 4.0" with the 300 Berger's. 3.90 isn't too bad. Shouldn't make much difference as long as accuracy stays.
These mate up nice to the Eh1 series as well!
A+ guys. Got one for my Edge. Ammo fits with some space to spare

Unfortunately, these are only compatible with Remington 700 long action & clones screw spacing.

Always been a draw back of the mark v since they won't sell just the action not enough after market parts for it

How much milling was needed on that 700 to clear for feeding? Same as a cfe9 Wyatt's cut?
Yessir - you set this up the same way you open up your action for a Wyatt's 4 inch.
