I shoot more shotguns than rifles and have been using Beretta A400s for most everything now although I grew up pumping 870s. We have some bear and lion issues where my house is so I've kept a short barrel 870 by the bed for that reason. After chasing a bear off the back steps last fall I went on the hunt for a semiautomatic that my wife could shoot easier as her regular shotguns are a A400 and 1100. Ended up getting a Mossberg 940 Pro and really like it. 18" barrel, extended magazine tube, cut out for a micro red dot and shims to adjust the stock for cast and height. After getting it set up to fit and pattern adjusted, this is going to be my main coyote shotgun.
