I prefer the left bolt left port over the right bolt. Being right handed, I never have to taken my hand off the grip and maintain the same hold during loading.
I had a center grip .223 at one time and sold it and now I stay with the rear grip. I prefer the rear grip because the recoil tends to go straight back and I can stay on target better while shooting on a lower power.
If I would have started out on a center grip XP, I probably would have stayed with it. I really like the looks of them, but I shoot the rear grips better.
