Im going to be buying my first suppressor, id like to keep it at under 800 bucks without the tax stamp. i know there is no such thing as a suppressor thats great at everything but im looking for something i can use on 30 cal and smaller. It will be ran on a bunch of different things from .308 and 300 BO to .243, .223 and everything between. Captial armory has a silencerco Omega 300 in stock, everyone really seems to like that Suppressor and its $640 right now. I had look at the YHM R2 and silencerco hybrid 46 also but im open to other suggestions.
Thanks!!!

The S model is 765 and the L model is 865 in the titanium models. The L was the quietest can that PewScience had tested up to a certain point a few months ago. Not sure of they've been dethroned or not.

I've been eyeballing the A10 Warthog for awhile. I think that will end up being the first can I get.

I have a couple center-fire cans, not a lot of experience outside this but have fired a handful.

My latest is a Harvester EVO. Small, light and suppresses better than I anticipated. Came in at $500, so with stamp you'd still have $100 in your pocket.

I've had mine since this spring and have zero complaints.

I got this last one through Capitol Armory out of TX. You do everything online other than fingerprints, and they mail it to you. Kind of convenient and their price was great. I'd probably still do in person at a local shop if the price is close and shop isn't far.

What are the additional charges for filing remotely with CA? TIA

Looks like it was $42 shipping (they ship it to their own dealer in your state, and then to you) and I got charged sales tax of $32... So $500 for the can, plus fees, plus the $200 stamp came out to $773.42

So not really any other fees.

You do need computer access, they kind of remote log in and have you sign stuff before they ship. You call in and they send you a remote desktop access thing.

I was looking at ordering from capital armory too.. seems super convenient if prices are similar…

I had a pretty good experience with them! Not having a shop within an hour of me makes a difference, plus their inventory is pretty big.

Takes a short wait to get it through the mail, and you have to be present to sign for it (although I pre-signed electronically through the carrier service since I wasn't home that day).

Still, if a local shop has what I wanted and prices were comparable I'd probably just do it that way and go pick it up in a day or two.

Still, no complaints from Capitol Armory

I bought mine using Silencer Shop's Kiosk, super simple process. I like my Omega 300, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The new DTM is about 4 ounces lighter than my Omega at 10.4 oz. You'll spend $1000+ to get an 8 oz suppressor.
