Browning X Bolt in 28 Nosler

If you don't want to spend $200 on the timney just get the spring from MCarbo. I changed all my Xbolt's springs and a couple for a friend.
I use Talley one piece but there's rails available if you want to go that route.
All of mine are shooters.
Groups from my 6.5 CM that I purchased this last spring.
140 BT and 140 ELDM

I had a hells canyon in 28 Nosler put a Timney in it Swaro glass. Reloaded for it and could never get it to group 3 shots under 1 1/2"and same with a Winchester XPR in 6.8 Western. I'll take a $500.0 Savage over a Browning or Winchester any day. For a $1000.00 rifle it would be a Tikka or Bergara.
I have several of all those except Winchester.Variety is the spice of life.

Thanks, you just saved me a ton of money

I've been shooting Browning BAR's, 1885's, A-Bolts, and X-Bolts for nearly 40 years. The triggers are my only complaints. I only shot factory ammo thru the BAR so I've always found a load for each rifle that shot sub moa at worst. Some took longer but I love hand loading. The short bolt throw is nice also. There are more than a few off the shelf rifles that are real good. Everybody has their favourite and it's great to be an American and living in the USA!

Interesting. I read 7 replies that say they are good rifles and 1 bad reply and you decide to listen to the one bad. our gun club opens up to the public two day before the start of big game season here in Colorado for hunters to check sight in on their rifles. We get a lot of hunters from all over the different states. We had 248 rifles come through. Most of the bad shooting rifles were new brownings,Christensen and a couple of fierce. My two Pennie's

I guess I have been lucky with the 4 I have and my friend has 2 that are shooters also.
I ordered another one yesterday so I will find out if my luck is running out.
I'm guessing if you do a search about Xbolt's on here most everyone is happy with them, just look at the responses the OP has received in one day.
I can only relay the experience that I have with them and it's been all good, so far.
