New Sherman Wildcat based on a .308 sized bolt face

Or.. How about a 7GT
I took a mismatched case from a match last season and stuffed a 180 ELDM in there.
It makes no sense but now I kinda wanna shoot this ICBM looking thing :)

Might be cool in a 224cal version. I see its merits for banging steel. 7x47AI has got to be running pretty hot to get a 180 into the high 2700fps range.

I don't need one but I support anything Rich or Derek or Tyler come up with.....just wish they would come up with a speed demon 🤣
You should try the 26 Sherman Mag. 26 Nosler performance!

Shooting 190atips for a season of prs would prob make me go broke! Interesting concept.......a 180hyb 350g7, 153.5 350g7, 65cm will run it at 2680 all day, did it last season. Same wind. 153 atip is even better at 357-360g7. I do see merits for this in nrl hunter. However the name of the game is seeing your shots in prs. 65cm with 153s at 2680 in a 20# gun isn't always visible due to props, position, stability. This is 25% more bullet weight at same velocity. It prob has similar recoil as a 6sst with 115 dtacs

Parent case is 6.5x47L
— can NOT use Lapua brass…too short of a neck if you do.
AI: reduced the taper & 40d shoulder
Designed for PRS, so look for 180-190g FB
Alpha brass, Cortina dies for now
No it is not the same as a 7 SAW or 7-08AI

Been waiting on this, but was hoping it would be more of a hunting round. Meaning a freebore set up for 160 to 175 class bullets essentially I think this is the same as my 7 mm Creedmoor.

From Derek Webster:
Exciting news! The first batch of test brass is approved and we are in production on the first run of 7SWC brass! I've tested the 190 Atip and 180 hybrid, both achieved high 2700+ speeds. The idea behind this cartridge is to have the highest ballistically performing comp cartridge available all while seating bullets appropriately in the case and feeding reliably. Tyler Jacobs and I have shot matches with both of these bullets shooting at 2680-2720.
To give some slight reference

6mm dasher with 109s needs to shoot 3630 to match my wind hold at 800 yards.

6.5 creed with 144s needs 3340 to match me.

Recoil is mild and shots are able to be seen through the glass.

Fully formed Alpha Brass will be available very soon!
Along with dies and reamers.

left to right is 6 dasher, 6gt, 6.5x47 lapua, 7 SWC, 22 creed.
Do you have pics of ur 7mm Creedmoor loads? Thatd help with a lil perspective. I realize you dont also have a 7SWC but still. I like the idea of this (and ur) round for a hunting rifle.

My 6ARC loads with 95LRX at 2.32 give me the same feeling. Jus look neat with a bullet almost long as the case haha

Send pics shortly.
I have three 7 mm Creedmoors. All have 1:8 or 1:9tw, 24", Brux barrels, built by Short Action Customs, LLC
I get ~3200 w/120 NBT
~2975 w/140 NBT
~2850 w/162ELD
All shoot either Hybrid 100V or SW Match and Tactical

Search on here under my profile, I posted some info about one of them.
