Suppressed Magnums

Well im glad we all had a lesson on comprehending. Yes my OPINION is they are garbage. The FACTS are they don't reduce recoil in my MAGNUMS like brakes. Again, I respect your OPINION that you think I'm wrong. But that's the thing, there's really no need to police that. They're junk, I dislike them and wish I never wasted my money on them. They are a giant rig'm roll that ends up turning into a fizzled out, over promise of rainbows that didnt have the effect on me as it apprently does on others. I strongly prefer my magnums (not muzzys) braked instead of suppressed. No amount of arguing that will change people's minds because it's not necessary. You like them, I think they are a waste of my time. That's ok. One guy says 6.5 for elk I say your smoking crack. I wouldn't let my daughter shoot an elk with a 6.5.....

It's okay fellas. Take a deep breath you will survive the onslaught of other people's opinions without having to defend your stance.

So go somewhere other than the SUPPRESSOR sub-forum 🤣

It's like going to a Chevy forum and calling them all straight, it's gonna **** a few off......

Is this not America? Are we not allowed to voice our opinions on a public forum on a thread where opinions are solicited? To you I'd say to stop policing others opinions as well!! Don't post your opinions in a place where people ask for your opinions 🙄🙄🙄😬😬

Sorry I said it too hahaha. Seriously though people shouldn't take things so personally.

I'm enjoying shooting my 7PRC suppressed and hunting with it wasn't a bother on the end of the gun. I use a cover that I'm able to slip rearward onto the barrel so the can is able to cool faster. Slip back the cover, set the rifle with the muzzle up and it's cool pretty quick (even in AZ). But if I do a long string of shots without cooling, as others have said, I still get mirage from the end of the can. Recoil is fairly tame with the can but spotting shots is certainly not as easy as with a brake. I shot very effective brakes in the past and am sick of the concussion those brakes sent rearward, god forbid i took a shot at an animal in the moment and without any ear pro (i did many times, never again)

I am really interested to see more on the TBAC RR cans. Spotting shots with a can sounds awesome but how does the rifle/can sound in person? I know i can't have my cake and eat it too but i still want to.

When shooting suppressed vs muzzle brake you will have an increase in recoil when shooting suppressed, it's just physics. I got a 8 lb 300 win mag that just rocks me when I have my TBAC Ultra 7 on it. According to TBAC the ultra 7 reduces recoil compared to bare muzzle by 8% which frankly ain't sh**. I ended up buying the new TBAC Magnus RR series which they claim 65% recoil reduction. This would put it on the same level as muzzle brake with recoil reduction. I've been in ATF jail for about 90 days, hopefully not to much longer. Problem with the new RR series, if you didn't get your hands on one you will be waiting 2 years at the minimum before touching one…..their backlog is stupid
