Hey Everyone,

I'm building a 25 SAUM and I can't find a seating die. I'd prefer to use an arbor die, but will use an in-line if forced to.

My original plan was to buy a 6.5 SAUM LE Wilson micrometer seating die and drop a 25 cal seating stem into it, but Wilson said that their 25 stem won't fit in their 65. SAUM die. I was a bit shocked by this.

Anyway, please let me know if you can think of a way to accomplish this.

Thanks!
AH

25 is only .007" smaller. 6.5 seating stem should work fine, may need to drill the stem ever so slightly if it is contacting the meplat if wanting to use arbor die.

I used Redding 7 saum competition seater and have swapped the stem out for the 25 cal stem

Similar to Shooter264, for my 6 saum I've used my Redding 6.5 saum competition seater. I didn't need do anything to the seater stem but was prepared to drill it out if necessary.

Plan on ordering a SAC DIE at some point, but currently been running a 7 Saum Wilson micrometer seater for an arbor press..been getting really consistent seating even with 7mm stem
And you're using the 7mm stem to seat 6.5 or 25?

Thanks!!
