I am at 63.5. Close enough.I know of a handful of 300 WSM's in my area and to a T they;re all using 64/H4350 with 180's. Back up powder is always R17.
Lots of elk are turfed with this load.
Glad you got it perking!
What projectile?I was getting inconsistent groups with the combo of H4350 and Fed 210M, switched to Fed215M and groups are better, let's see if they hold.
Berger 215sWhat projectile?
If you're not at max load for this recipe, you may want to test just a touch more powder (like 0.2g) as that vertical stringing is often a sign of just being on the low edge of your powder charge accuracy node.Well, H4350 works like a charm, I'm shooting the 215s at 2820 with 63.0 gr and Fed 210M and COAL of 3.140.
That is a 6 shot group fired relatively fast.
you could try a little more neck tensionI was getting inconsistent groups with the combo of H4350 and Fed 210M, switched to Fed215M and groups are better, let's see if they hold.
Good idea. I usually start at .002 but that might be just the ticket.you could try a little more neck tension

How does the velocity compare with H4350 and RL17? I'm shooting a 20" and want to keep all the speed I can with a 180I know of a handful of 300 WSM's in my area and to a T they;re all using 64/H4350 with 180's. Back up powder is always R17.
