For those of us not tech savvy how does this work? When you bring it up on your phone does the app have to connect to the web?
No, the ballistic software that's on an iPhone is independent of anything but the iPhone it doesn't even need service once downloaded except if you want to use and everything else is done through the iPhone using an iPhone 8 or higher

Paying for all the work and intellectual property built into the app I would guess
This ballistic app does more than any app on the market
I guess mine updated on its own. Says version 1.1.3 in my app.
