Ha ha.. I live in Wy. Shooting with wind is a way of life here.17 HMR out to 150 until the Wy wind picks up. Sometimes only a couple of hours of shooting.
I've been thinking about a 17 fireball...how do you like it for noise? Have you used it on larger critters?I generally always grab a .17. Love my CZ .17 hornet, and my Cooper .17 AH, and my Rem. 700 limited .17 Fireball, and if I really need to reach out I grab the heavy barreled Savage .204. Run a suppressor on all of them. Killed about 1000 this summer.
I run a suppressor on every rifle, so noise is not a concern.I've been thinking about a 17 fireball...how do you like it for noise? Have you used it on larger critters?
